The Rockland Yacht Club hosting USGC Limited Masters License (Boatwise) Classes
On May 17th & 18th 2025 Rockland Yacht Club is pleased to be hosting classes for the USGC Limited Masters License (aka USGC Launch Operators License.) To drive certified launches, drivers must have an Inspected Operators License. The renewable license is good for five years. Rockland Yacht Club is always looking for drivers to hire for the summer, it's a great way to make money while being on the water. Look over the checklist for requirements of the license. You can fulfill all requirements before taking the course. Once the course is passed you can send it off to USGC to receive license.
If you just want to brush up on safe boating you can sign up for just the Saturday class. Learn aspects of boating safely and legally in one day of instruction. A must for all boaters, all ages. This class usually lowers your boat insurance premium.
